DANIEL BENG

If you had attended any recent Merlion events, you would have been introduced to the talents of Daniel Beng.  Daniel is a singer and musician with the rare gift of having an ear for perfect pitch. Formerly a quality control engineer, Daniel made the switch to secondary school teaching mid career.  Being a teacher has allowed him to share his love for music and mathematics with his students. Since starting violin lessons at age 7, Daniel has gone on to acquire extensive performance experience in both classical and popular genres of music in orchestral and solo capacities. He was even involved in the busking initiative in Singapore at MRT stations. Moving to Melbourne in 2015, Daniel has performed at various events and festivals in venues like Queen Victoria and Dandenong markets and Federation Square, and been engaged for various corporate functions and private gigs.  Needless to say, Daniel has been a wonderful addition to the Merlion band both as a singer and instrumentalist with his fantastic talent at musical adaptations.

Daniel gives private Mathematics and violin lessons and can also be engaged as a singer or solo performer. He can be contacted at 0450485368 or email: stephdan@gmail.com. More information is available at https://www.facebook.com/Danielthemusicman/
