Our Singapore National Day event held at Oakleigh Grammar Conference Centre was a celebration of who and what we are. The event showcased our community (people), our culture and our heritage (arts, music and food).
A cultural delegation from the acclaimed Sri Warisan Performing Arts Group from Singapore performed 2 dances, “Stories of Singapore” and “Our Heritage”. Their chereography, beautiful costumes and colourful props captivated the audience. All who attended enjoyed a delicious dinner of spicy Singaporean cuisine. There was a mandarin song rendition from Stella Lim and live entertainment from our own Singapore born singer-songwriter, Rene Diaz. It was certainly a fun, relaxed and enjoyable evening.
