Merlion Club had a makan and social networking night in March where about 40 Singaporeans and their families and friends gathered at LIttle Ipoh restaurant in La Trobe Street. There was great food (nasi lemak, murtabak, satay, rojak, goreng pisang, Penang laksa and mee rebus) and good fun as karaoke was also available for those who wanted to sing. At the end of the evening, a lucky draw was held with the first prize of a 2 night stay at a luxury resort in Phuket.
